Dr. C. Subramaniam is a distinguished education visionary who has dedicated his life for the cause of having served as Registrar of Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore and Vice-Chancellor of Thanjavur Tamil University, he has contributed immensely to the higher education in Tamil Nadu. His experience as a member of syllabus committee, Vice-Chancellor selection panels, and educational boards reflects his academic wisdom and leadership skills. Beyond university service, he has also actively involved in social and cultural initiatives that promote Tamil language and its culture. His leadership combines Vision, Discipline and Compassion; he is the beacon light of his institution. Education, in my view, should never be confined by geography or economic background. Rural children deserve the same quality of learning and opportunities as those in urban areas.
